How to Keep Your Fine Hair Healthy & Great Looking!
Fine Hair can be frustrating, especially when you have lots of people around you with thick, beautiful hair. I struggle to manage my fine hair and keep it healthy, so I asked our stylists at Mauve and Maple for some tips and tricks to a great mane, even with fine hair. Here are their suggestions:
- Talk to your stylist about the best products to use for the style you want to achieve. A professional’s advice is better than standing in the haircare aisle of your local store pondering which product to buy!
- Maintain your cut. Cut off enough hair that your hair will appear thicker, especially since dead ends will only get worse with time.
- Placement of product is important for achieving your perfect style. Again, your stylist can assist and teach you how to work with your hair.
- When blow drying your hair, achieving fullness and volume is easiest when you blow dry the roots of your hair the opposite direction of how you will style it. When the roots are dry, style your hair the way you prefer.
- It is best to use the cold setting on your hair dryer to lock in the volume and style you want.
